Parked in front of the Museum is the original Safety (Drag) Safari trailer and replicated '54 Dodge station wagon tow car. This was used by the pioneer members of the Safari to crisscross the country and spread the gospel of organized drag racing from 1954-'56. The tour paved the way for the first NHRA Nationals held in 1955, and led directly to today's 23-event NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.
