Offered through the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by Automobile Club of Southern California, scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a high school senior planning to pursue studies leading to a career in the automotive or motorsports industry.
• Must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school offering a relevant course of studies, or already be enrolled in such a college, university or technical school.
• Must submit a completed application which includes an approximately 350-word essay describing how the applicant shares Wally Parks’ passion for the automotive/motorsports industry.
• Must submit two letters of recommendation from adults such as teachers, counselors, or employers.
• Applications and related materials must be postmarked by April 30, 2009.
